The ABA Life is pleased to present A native of Pasadena, Calif., a graduate of Pasadena High, and star backcourt leader at Cal State-Bakersfield. Rice finished his career tied for fourth in assists with 342, and seventh in scoring with 1,056 points. He also ranked third in career steals. Dwuan won a championship with ABA’s Vermont Frost Heaves and was later called up to the NBA's Development League’s Idaho Stampede where he won another championship. We sat down and talked about life on and off the court, being a role model to his younger siblings and today’s youth, his thoughts on making the NBA, and future aspirations.

The ABA Life is pleased to present the first-ever African-American President/COO of a professional sports league… Quentin Townsend. Townsend acquired the ABA Atlanta market in 2004. He renamed his team the Atlanta Vision, re-structured the entire organization, and quickly began distinguishing himself and his team as one of the most dynamic teams in the league and the country. Townsend is a native of Joliet, IL and grew up with basketball, hard work, community outreach, and strong mentors that shaped him into the successful entrepreneur he is today. His experience with Fortune 500 Companies, Real Estate, and a variety community endeavors makes him an excellent fit for his new position. He sat down with “The ABA Life” and talked about his new role, family, and responsibilities.

Mark Johnson, President/CEO of "The Johnson Network LLC", played professional basketball in Europe and on Semi-Pro Leagues in the United States. Mark was known for more than his basketball skills as the first African American Commencement Speaker in School History at the Washington and Jefferson College (PA). After his professional basketball career ended in 2000 Mark continued his pursuit of academic excellence at Ivy League’s Princeton Theological Seminary where he received a Master's of Divinity and a Master's in Christian Education. Mark's broadcasting career exploded as he put his passion for his faith and basketball in the media world. The goal was simply to provide another media outlet for all those semi-pro leagues doing great things both on and off the court in a fun and exciting way.
